The second leg of the Championship play-off semi final and the winner goes onto face West-Ham in the final for a chance to play in the Premiership next year! What an opportunity after a long 46 game season.

Birmingham trail Blackpool 1 - 0 after the first leg at Blackpool and I believe they will have the experience and quality to overturn this scoreline and get to the play-off final.
My reasons for this are simple; it was a very close first leg with neither side bossing it, Birmingham's experience and quality as they were in the Premiership last year will come threw. Most of all its the fact Birmingham are so strong at home and the St Andrews crowd can make it a very tough place to play.
Birmingham have only lost one game at home all season in the league and picked up the second most points at home. Birmingham beat Blackpool 3-0 at home earlier in the season as well.
The home side are my pick to qualify here.

i'll be rooting for west ham myself. something about them in EPL just makes it better...

he's liking birm city from the writeup but i think over is best play. blackpool aren't one to play for the draw and almost always score away from home which should mean 3 or more in the net.

don't be too harsh on the hammers! 2 of the top 12 scorers in championship and even scored more than blackpool

reading's the team i'm not looking forward to seeing next year. way too defensive

for me i'm not looking forward to seeing Man Utd and Man City in the EPl.....i've never seen two so-called top teams play such crap football at the end. But i am with cocktail as far as birmingham...it was so hard to follow games with them in the EPL and even this year. Whatever gets results i guess and certainly 1-0 to the Arsenal was a successful slogan at one time. But boring...Blackpool was a great EPL team and certainly this year.

I find 1-0 first leg to make such an unpredictable 2nd leg...i guess birmingham can win with their home record and until recent blackpool wasn't great on the road. 1-0 birmingham so uberdoo can win his bet but blackpool wins in extra so we don't have to see birmingham in the epl. Bad enough Wigan, Villa, Swansea, WBA, QPR and Liverpool are in it. Time to cut the league down to 10 teams and have a super premier league .. haha...

gl - playoffs and EUROPA are dumb ideas in my mind and no bets for me

even if they lose at wembley i wish they were coming back to the prem...i mean any other team with 2:30 into stoppage time with a free kick back it out and play keep away..not blackpool!!! and they nearly scored off a header...holloway can coach my team any day of the week...in fact, i wish he was the city coach...unfortunately, if we win on sun...'the wop' is getting 4 years and 22 mil
